Case Study
Manor AG

Do you want the Promote the health and motivation of employees?

Manor AG is the largest Swiss department store chain based in Basel, which has existed since 1902. This is where tradition and innovation meet, as change is — and remains — a major constant. This change entails challenges for which healthy and motivated employees are essential. As part of a major health campaign, several training courses are being developed, including training that is intended to teach managers how to create a motivating environment for themselves and their employees.

The starting position

In this training, particular attention was paid to addressing managers from all areas (purchasing, supermarket, restaurant, logistics, etc.). In addition to the varied design of the individual learning elements, the connection to Manor should not be lost.

The approach

The selection of images was decisive here. Images from all areas of Manor were integrated into the training. A selection of individually designed background images, stock images and manor internal images was selected. Various interactive elements were incorporated to make the content exciting and varied. Typical elements of Manor — which every employee recognizes — were integrated into the training to increase identification.

Certify successes

A video introduces the topic, and a note function allows learners to record their thoughts directly during training. A hidden object and a listening task round the picture and lead to an interactive design.

In order to increase identification with Manor, in addition to the real images, familiar elements for learners appear throughout the training, such as the logo/a poster from the campaign or a whiteboard with notes typical of Manor.

Have a look at the Individual leadership training

An introductory video introduces learners to the topic. The video depicts a manager's everyday situation. At the end of the training, learners receive a corresponding solution as a final video.
